Point Boro Football Coaches Recognize Players

December 8, 2019 – The Point Boro high school football program took time to recognize their 2019 top players at the Football Banquet hosted by the Black and Gold Football Parents Club.

Parents, players, their families, coaches, honorees and school administrators gathered for the 2019 luncheon at The White Sands to celebrate the season.

The awards were presented by Coach Staub to the top football players for outstanding leadership, academics, most valuable players and overall outstanding skills.

Team MVP: Patrick Frawley

Clifford McKennan Award: Cody Sullivan

Offensive MVP: Colby Biggs

Defensive MVP: Nick Tuzzolino

Big A Award: Dan Meccia

Brotherhood Award: Joe Picolli

Iron Panther Award: Chris Boud

Steve Hatch Lineman Award: Dan Meccia

Paul Kenny Award: Sam and Cole Young

Cody Sullivan, pictured left, was awarded the Clifford McKennan Award by Sweeney McKennan, pictured right.

Dan Meccia was awarded both the Big A Award for his academic achievement and the Steve Hatch Lineman Award.

Chris Boud received the Iron Panther Award.

Colby Biggs received the Offensive MVP Award.

Joey Picolli received The Brotherhood Award.

Nick Tuzzolino, left, received the Defensive MVP Award and Patrick Frawley, right, received the Team MVP Award.
