October 07, 2021 - Four years have passed like a blur and on Friday night, October 8, we will be celebrating the twelve seniors on the Point Pleasant Boro Football team during senior night.
It's one of the hardest and most anticipated nights for senior parents and players. The night they play their final varsity game at home.
Senior night means different things to different people.
To our fans, it is one last chance to watch their friends play on our home field. One last chance to get caught up in the excitement of game day and to meet up with friends as they crowd into the pit to cheer them on.
To our parents, it is bittersweet. It is the memory of not just tonight, but the hundreds of hours given. It is the reflection of all of the emotion that has been experienced over the years; the tears from devastating losses, the exhilaration from great wins and the overwhelming pride felt as they watch their son run onto the field. We hope they celebrate it all tonight.
To our seniors, it is the very last time to take the field at home. They have worked, sweat, fought, lost and won. They have shared all they have to give and have known each other at their worst and their best. They have formed a bond that will last the rest of their lives. We hope they all enjoy this moment, they will carry it with them always.
We are proud to recognize our seniors for their unparalleled commitment to their team, their school and their teammates. Thank you Seniors.
